Plot Summary
Thomas Merritt thought that insomnia was the worst of his problems. That was before a chance encounter with a succubus turned his life upside down. Book Review
The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on August 11, 2020
After Helena departs, Thomas finds himself at the mercy of the succubus Mela. She’s vastly different from Helena, but she still wants one thing from Thomas and he is very eager to give what she desires.
The work follows on immediately from the first work and once more is a short erotic hot flash in which the main character becomes entangled with a unique succubus and how things unfold for the two of them. It’s cute and fun, the dialogue between the main characters is just a delightful tease and overall there’s a lot going for the story and the characters from the start.
Mela, the succubus of the story, is a unique succubus, both in her form and her personality. She’s not exactly evil, but more a tease wrapped in seduction and I liked that a lot. The story plays with her nature, allows the underlying erotic edge within her to slowly come out. Her dominant nature is more of a controlling aspect than being over the top and how that unfolded was really well done too.
Three out of five pitchforks.
I rather liked Mela a bit more than Helena from the first book, that’s probably because of her personality and teasing nature. I do so enjoy one of the succubi being naughty after all. The work closes with the promise of a new encounter, and at the same time there’s a feeling of impending doom and I really hope not.
