Plot Summary

Thomas Merritt thought that insomnia was the worst of his problems. That was before a chance encounter with a succubus turned his life upside down. Now, unless he can find some way to escape the horde of lusty creatures hungering for his frisky energy, Thomas might never manage a good night’s sleep again!

Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on July 10, 2020

All Thomas really wanted was a good night’s sleep. But Helena has other ideas, being that she is a succubus of course. Their encounter will start the two of them on a sexual adventure that might take more than one succubus to deal with.

The work is a short erotic hot flash in which the main character becomes entangled with a rather unique succubus and how things unfold for the two of them. It’s cute and fun, the dialogue between the main characters is just fun and overall there’s a lot going for the story and the characters from the start.

Helena, the succubus of the story, is a very unique succubus, both in her form and her personality. There’s a bit of an edge to her, but it is more in a teasingly amused way. She’s not evil by any means, though her nature as a succubus is very much in the fore of her character. She’s interesting and offers a lot to carry the story forwards and take the main character on his journey of succubi encounters and where that will take them both.

Three out of five pitchforks.

It’s an interesting start to the series as a whole, there’s a lot of mythos being constructed and I rather liked that. The erotica is fun with a bit of heat. Helena is quite a unique succubus and I wonder about her. Hopefully the next part of the series will be as much fun with the seeming impending doom that is approaching in the best possible way I expect.
