Plot Summary

Vanessa's in trouble, unsure of herself, her future, and what the existence of magic could mean for her. She goes in search for a place she can turn to for answers and discovers the Midnight Guardians Motorcycle Club, a gang that's been caught dealing with magic multiple times by the press. Finding no better place to turn, she drives to their clubhouse, her salacious hunger rising as she goes too long without companionship, a no-no for any succubus, especially a freshly flowered one. By the time she arrives, Vanessa's in real need, and she's greeted by a pair of lucky dwarf bikers.

Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on August 16, 2020

Vanessa has to come to terms with magic, with being a succubus, and what that means for her future. But there are dark things waiting for her and somehow she needs to get what she needs to survive. N matter how that has to happen or whom.

The work follows on from the prior in the series and is a short hot flash erotic story with a bit of a succubus theme that appears throughout. While there is a lot of sex scenes, there is a great deal of plot and character development as well that happens and I found that so very interesting.

Some of the erotica has lovely heat, some is a little over the top and that I thought that still worked well. The surprising amount of character development along the way added to the story in ways that it really needed.

Vanessa, the succubus of the work, is still very much a creature of sex more than a succubus, at least through much of the story between the little bits of succubus lore that come to light. Those are really interesting and added more to the story than I expected. There’s a bit more of Vanessa’s succubus abilities, a little more of her nature beyond needing sex, and that added a lot as well.

Three out of five pitchforks.

This work was more about building the succubi mythos and honestly there was a lot done with that. The work ends in a place that offers some really interesting paths forwards and how that unfolds would be interesting to see. But, the series is no longer available and I can’t say that I ever saw a third part to the series. It’s a shame really as this was becoming more than the sex alone and how things unfolded from here I would have liked to see.
