Plot Summary

It’s only been a couple of days since Morgan summoned an incubus to break an abstinence hex and her life is about to get even crazier. Somehow the demon's summoning medallion and Morgan's resident ghost, a young woman named Bonnie, are connected. Morgan races to figures out the mystery, for another creature is hungry for Bonnie's spirit. Morgan will have to summon every ounce of her willpower and every bit of her passion to help Bonnie crossover to the other side...and the incubus is more than willing to help.

Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on October 29, 2019

Morgan needs Suranel and summoning him is a slippy slope to her doom. But you cannot resist a craving and Suranel is more than pleased to give her what she wants.

The work follows on shortly after the prior work and remains an erotic hot flash with a modern edge with a bit of fantasy and magic. The characters have depth, they are delightfully complicated and the frustration of the main character just leads to so many surprises.

Once the main characters come together one again and get over the initial awkwardness, the erotica has lovely heat, their passion and need felt really well told too.

Suranel. the incubus of the work, continues to avoid being stereotypical, though that shade of darkness remains and grows a bit. Very dominant, but not over the top, there is seductive passion mixed into the power which rolls off him throughout the story. A bit of amusement, a little bit of attraction and while there are hints of his power and true form, it’s more to add colour to his character and he remains interesting.

Three and a half out of five pitchforks.

The work closes in a way that leaves one path open and I do wonder how the will continue. Suranel is temptation and darkness but as well there’s something more to him. Perhaps the next work will expand on that and bring things to a climax in more than one way.
