Plot Summary
He thought he was signing up to catalog dusty manuscripts. He ended up with a daily orgasm quota and a very enthusiastic (and scantily clad) Faculty Integration Liaison.
Arthur Pringle, a perfectly respectable (and perfectly flustered) British archivist, believed he was accepting a prestigious position at a quiet, subterranean institution dedicated to preserving rare texts. Instead, he wakes up with a wine-induced headache in a bedroom where the furniture purrs and the air smells suspiciously of sin and cinnamon. Welcome to Succubus University – an academy for adult Succubi and other sex-positive creatures where the curriculum is carnal, the faculty is fantastical, and his contract requires him to "contribute bodily essences" to power the campus. Daily.
Panicked, overwhelmed, and utterly out of his depth, Arthur is a walking disaster in a world of effortless eroticism. His attempts to lecture on the driest, most mind-numbing bureaucratic procedures only seem to make things worse (or, for some, much, much better). From tentacle negotiation demonstrations that defy sanity to sentient mashed potatoes with emotional needs, Arthur's first few days are a masterclass in academic humiliation and accidental arousal. With his "productivity metrics" critically low and the threat of exile to the dreaded "Nonparticipatory Realm" (a dimension of eternal paperwork!) looming, Arthur is convinced he's the university's biggest mistake.
But at Succubus University, even failure can be a fetish. When his anxiety-ridden, footnote-obsessed lecture style accidentally triggers an earth-shattering (and mana-rich) orgasm in an unexpected student, Arthur discovers he might have a very specific, very niche talent after all. Can this perpetually apologetic archivist learn to embrace his accidental sex appeal and find his unique place among succubi, incubi, and other denizens of desire?
