Plot Summary

It was the week before Christmas, and I was about to leave behind my new job to start a new one. I’ve been a succubus pretending to be a therapist for a few months now, but it was time for me to move on and hunt down bigger prey.

Little did I know, that I’d walk in on my last day to my boss pleading me to help out one last client. The client was a mall Santa who lost his girlfriend in an accident and hasn’t been able to make love since then.

He has come to me, hoping that my therapy sessions would solve his problem. Lucky for me, I look just like his girlfriend, and it wouldn’t take much effort to convince him to have a little bit of fun.

Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on July 29, 2025

Sometimes being a succubus really sucks, and it’s not in a good way. For Scarlett, things are going to change, but there’s one last role for her to play, and it might, just might, create something of a Christmas miracle.

Carrying on from the prior work, Scarlett finds herself dealing with a terribly sad man named Chris, a lost love, and a choice which could damn her. It’s really the one work in the series where Scarlett is true to her nature but also her soul and that was really something special. The erotica is quite fun, there is some lovely heat as well, but really it’s how Scarlett’s character finds herself by the close which I enjoyed the most.

Scarlett remains a wonderfully fun succubus character, her nature and personality just works really well as does the situation she finds herself in. She’s become more naughty than evil, which works well for her, and offers a lot more possibilities for her as a character as well.

Three and a half out of five pitchforks.

The story ends on a twist in the tale, it’s a rather quirky one at that. But it is a fun idea and turned what otherwise might have been what came before in the story into something that made me smile. Still, as things ended it seems this was the last work in the series and I’m not expecting the story of Scarlett to continue under this series name. But it would be nice if it did.
