Plot Summary
Horacio Rucker is a creature of myth who is agitated. His vast years walking the planet have prevented him from finding his purpose, the meaning of his long life. He wants more. This may explain his need to get back on the road. A firmly placed dart in the center of a map chose his destination. Karma is a wench. Kansas it is.
His tent revival and cast of participants will make his cover easier. It will allow him to lay hands on and collect the lives and energies of the unknowing towns folk.
Verna, Horacio’s right hand, is as mean as she is round. She hates completely and freely with no regrets. She has secrets and scars from the world that has been so cruel to her.
