Plot Summary

One needs to be careful when in the presence of Lilith. She plots and schemes, her seductiveness cannot be resisted for long. The question one needs to ask is not what she will give you, but what you will give up for her.
The work is a fantasy erotic story with an emphasis on transformation, succubi, and quite a lot of various fetishes. Complicated from the first page, it tends to drift towards the climax of the story, the main character being drawn to Lilith’s power and falling to her. While there are some really fascinating moments with Lilith, the overall work is all about the main character being transformed into her tool and the sexual and other escapades he gets involved with.
The erotica in the work is so very much over the top that it becomes rather uninteresting. The scenes are dark, harsh and have no purpose other than to push the main character towards the end that awaits him. It’s not quite hentai in theme and telling, but it’s so very close to being so.
The main character, who is never named, becomes something akin to an incubus, at least partly so. With that said his focus becomes on sex and domination, for Lilith’s goals, but doesn’t become much more than that.
As for Lilith, she is very much the seductress with plans hidden behind her eyes and overall she’s interesting. That aspect of her being a force of evil is a bit murky, in the shadows, but with that said, she’s very much a succubus with a plan and the intent to make it become reality.
The main character was too stereotypical and single minded for me. He just wasn’t interesting from the first page and by the last I found I really didn’t care all that much about him. Lilith was interesting, a schemer and seductress, and she carried that through the work, but at the same time she didn’t develop much beyond her beginnings.
Two and a half out of five pitchforks.
The work could use another editing pass, some of the dialogue reads flat, some of the narrative is lost and overall the erotica is so very over the top that I found myself skimming over it looking for better things to read. It’s an interesting premise, one that I think needs another look at to make it more than the oddity it seems like.
