Plot Summary

To save her family from a life of crushing debt and despair, Elara makes a choice. She will journey to the Obsidian Spire, a place of dread and desire, and offer herself to its master: Lord Asmodei, a demon who grants boons to the desperate for an unknown, forbidden price. She is prepared to barter her soul for their salvation, offering seven years of service. She is willing to do whatever he demanded.

But the demon lord is not a monster of simple tastes. Her service is not to him, but to his son, Kaelith—a beautiful, tortured incubus chained and starved of pleasure as punishment for his own defiance. Elara is to be his "feeder," a tool to torment him, a pawn in a savage game between father and son. Yet in the oppressive darkness of the Spire, surrounded by the scent of brimstone and the heat of raw need, Elara discovers a power she never knew she possessed. The line between pleasure and pain blurs, and she finds herself drawn into a perverse dance of control and surrender.

She was meant to be the sacrifice, but she is becoming a player. In a world where every touch is a test and every whispered word a move in a sinister game, Elara must learn the rules before the pact consumes her completely. As she unlocks the secrets of the Spire, she discovers that the greatest danger is not the demon who owns her vow, but the one who is beginning to claim her heart. She came to pay a price, but she may lose far more than just her soul.
