Plot Summary
A nice-looking piece, Maya had thought when she had discovered the ornate chair in the storage area of her condo building.
But when she sat in the chair, she discovered a gateway to unusual supernatural sexual excitement as unseen forces, seemingly centered around this antique, pleasured her in ways she had never dared imagine.

There’s a certain chair that awaits, it calls to but a select few, drawing them into it’s embrace. The needs of the unfulfilled give it power over others, trapping them within. But when the trap ensnares more than one needful soul, what comes next?
The work is an erotic hot flash which focuses upon the two main characters. While they interact with each other, the heat isn’t in their moments but rather in the moment they each have with the chair. That heat takes the form of they being manipulated, guided, made to experience the pleasures of a lover unseen, but deeply felt. How that is told has quite telling heat and it comes from the feelings expressed in the work. It’s a more mental pleasure than a physical one, but as the story progresses, and the pleasures do as well, the transit from mental to physical delight doesn’t fail to hold onto the seductive heat from the beginning.
The contrast between the erotic time spent with each character in the chair and their encounters otherwise, is a sharp contrast. It doesn’t take away from the heat, it simmers in the background even as the main characters do rather ordinary things. It’s a pause, a moment to take a breath before the next erotic delight comes.
The chair could be said to be a sort of succubus for one character and an incubus for the other. There’s no transformation of the chair, no spectral visitation either, but in spite of this, the heat brings with it a certain theme and flair that suggests that the chair has that aspect within it. But what the chair is, how it came to be, and how it wound up where it is found, isn’t part of this work.
That really isn’t needed, overall, as the heat and the contemplation of both characters as to what’s going on overcomes that question for the most part. But it is the climax of the work, the very last two pages that leave me wondering, wanting a little bit more and it’s a shame that the work ends where it does.
Lovely heat, the characters have life and passion that I enjoyed. It’s a short work, a hot flash with wonderful heat and passion. But it’s a shame because there’s quite a lot of story that could have come along the way before the ending, but as well, give the crescendo that is offered, but doesn’t come.
Four out of five pitchforks.
The work is too short and that’s really my main issue here. The mystery of the chair isn’t revealed, which is perfectly fine because the heat that comes from the story itself is quite delicious. Still, the work ends on a point that left me a little disappointed however. Not so much that the story didn’t reveal everything, but it left the question of what happens next untold.
I think that needs to happen overall. I’m left with wondering if there’s something that comes which transforms both characters, possesses them, or something as simple as what well could be the hottest flash of erotica overall. But that’s a mystery, one that I think would be ripe for a second work to be. We’ll have to see of course.
