Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on June 7, 2019

Night brings out a succubus on the hunt for prey and for one wayward soul, they will never escape her once she has had a taste of them.

The work is a very short, what I call a pamphlet, erotic hot flash that focuses on a single scene. It’s very much a succubus domination story with some really well told heat and erotic aspects that aren’t over the top by any means. It’s not sex alone, there’s a purpose and meaning to the encounter which adds I think a lot to the erotica as well.

The succubus of the story, who is never named, which is a shame really is a seductress from the moment she appears. She is also so very dominant and controlling, being intent to make the soul she has plans for her’s entirely. She’s not exactly evil, and she isn’t stereotypical either. There’s an amusement in her tone and character that I adored and delighted in.

Three out of five pitchforks.

This is very much a scene, a vignette and being so, even with the heat and delightful seduction, it’s a shame there isn’t more. How the story closes leaves more story to be told and honestly that is something to wonder about. One visit, after all, really isn’t enough to tell the story.
