Plot Summary
Despite the fact that she has sought refuge in the home of the incubus, Benedict, the witches have found Reina Cancion once again. In the midst of the attack, Reina draws her rapier and finds that it is much more than she could have ever expected. The sword is Devourer, one of the Treasures brought to London by the shadowy, inscrutable Ministers. Now that its presence is revealed, its vast powers have made Reina the target of every preternatural creature in the city.
Benedict Montenegro is all too happy to protect Reina from the witches, but the bloody results seem to drive her out of his arms - something he and his incubus nature will not abide.
