Plot Summary
Khloe knew a good deal when she saw one. So when she came across a seemingly average emerald ring, she had to have it. After all, her intuition had never betrayed her. But the last thing Khloe expected to find in the ring was a sex-crazed incubus.
When Khloe buys an average looking emerald ring from her local thrift shop, she was not expecting to bring home a sex demon. But that's exactly what happened! It turns out an incubus was trapped in the ring and he was ready to be free.

Khloe found a lovely emerald ring in a thrift shop, but what she didn’t expect was the incubus within the ring that has designs on her and what pleasures they can become entangled in, possibly forever.
The work is a very short, what I call a pamphlet, erotic hot flash which moves very quickly from the ordinary to the appearance of the incubus of the work and the passions ignited. It’s interesting in ho the incubus appears, his thoughts and the main characters reactions to him. At the same time, there’s a bit of an uncomfortable edge at times between them that dances on the edge of danger and was a bit of a surprise when that happened.
The incubus, who is never named, is very much a creature of sex and desire with a slightly dark and dangerous edge. He’s not exactly evil as such, but is so very dominant and their needs take control quite quickly as the story unfolds. There’s an instance in him, to be in control, at least for a time, before being drawn back to where he came from and await the next calling. But with that said, there’s so many questions about him that aren’t explored and honestly that bothered me.
Three out of five pitchforks.
With this story being as short as it is, it’s a shame that a name was never given to the incubus. More so how the story ends abruptly and in a way that really seems to say there’s more to the story and I wish there would be. There’s a lot of story that could be told here and it really needs to be.
