Plot Summary

Rhiannon is a light witch. She has no interest in playing around with demons. None. Unfortunately, her coven is far too kind to turn away another coven in need. Which lands Rhiannon right in the path of a demon who wants nothing more than to play with her.

Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on July 5, 2019

Some witches should never play with fire, or an incubus for that matter. A coven over their collective heads asks for help and Rhiannon and her coven are led into the problem. But a deal is a deal and Rhiannon decides she will be the one to close it. But Aginok has his own ideas, and Rhiannon will never be the same.

The work is an erotic hot flash which focuses on the main character facing off with the incubus of the work and trying to fix what others have messed with. It’s cute and fun at times, a little serious here and there, but overall it’s a really well told story with a lot of detail and passion that I thought was a delight.

The story has a lot of depth, the characters aren’t two dimensional and there’s a flow and path to the story that makes sense and leads to the erotica in a way that just worked and amused me at the same time. The scenes between Rhiannon and Aginok have heat and passion, but there’s also a sense of their personalities, desires, and truths that come out over the erotica that makes it that little bit more sensual and passionate.

Aginok, the incubus of the work, isn’t really evil, though he is so very naughty and at times even more of a tease. He is an incubus, without question, but it’s more in a fantasy-pleasures sort of way. His dominant nature carries throughout, but it’s not over the top or silly. There’s a point to it all, the truth is so very interesting, and he is quite the unique incubus.

Three and a half out of five pitchforks.

Rhiannon is a wonderful character and Aginok is a fun, so very naughty, incubus and I rather enjoyed their wordplay and entanglements. The story closes in an interesting place and there’s a comment made by Aginok about Rhiannon which left me wondering. I would have liked a follow on story to appear, in which Rhiannon is transformed into something between a white witch and a dark succubus. The idea fascinates me and I think that would be something fun to see unfold.
