Plot Summary

Lance wanted children, and thinking he didn't have a mate, he had no reason to wait to have them, but the witch's potion gives him not one baby but FIVE! Swollen and round with no one to enjoy how hot he looks, Lance takes comfort in his collection of toys and his fist, but after the babies drop, he'll need someone else to help get his contractions started.

Is the stranger in the club the perfect birth-inducing fling? Or the answer to why there are multiples in his belly in the first place?

Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on October 24, 2021

Lance is a sorcerer with a dream of having children, but a spell has unexpected results and he finds himself bearing the children he wanted. The father unknown, an encounter brings him to realize that his mate is an incubus and all that entails.

It’s a story that’s more about male impregnation and birth than it is an incubus story and as such there’s not a lot that interested me in it. It’s written well, the characters have promise, but the story is missing depth and background to make it more than it is.

The incubus is somewhat single minded in their focus through the story and as such leaves something to be desired. He’s not stereotypically evil, does care about Lance and the children to be, but his nature seems to overcome much of that most of the time. As such he’s more concerned at times about the sex and a bit less about all else.

The erotica carries a male/male tone and it has some heat with it, but there’s points where the heat is lost for the oddity of the situation they are in. It could have been better with perhaps a bit less need and something more emotional between the characters that I think should have happened earlier than it does in the story.

Two and a half out of five pitchforks.

Certainly a different sort of incubus story, though I think more time developing the characters and a bit less in the erotica would have made a better read.
