Plot Summary

Evil is eternal. But tacky decor? That’s unforgivable.

My name is Carter Hayes, and I’m a high-end interior designer. I was supposed to spend my Tuesday arguing with a client about the subtle differences between eggshell and cream. Instead, I fell through a magical portal and got summoned to the Under-Realm by the Dark Faction.

They didn't summon me to fight. They summoned me because they desperately need a contractor.

The Overlord’s dungeon is a depressing, damp nightmare. Minion morale is at an all-time low, the Feng Shui is completely blocked by poorly placed torture devices, and the invading "Heroes" keep mocking their gloomy, outdated aesthetic.

My new job? Renovate the ultimate evil lair into a functional, open-concept workspace of doom.

It sounds crazy, but the perks are surprisingly good. Especially when my new clients include three stunning, powerful women who are very invested in my vision:

Vaelia: A lethal Dark Elf Trap-Master who is absolutely thrilled that I figured out how to seamlessly integrate her deadly spike pits into the floor plan without ruining the room's flow. Seraphina: A Vampire Aristocrat and the faction’s strict accountant. She’s cold as ice, but my ability to source local gothic velvet while staying strictly under budget is melting her heart. Lilith: A Succubus HR Manager who is just relieved someone is finally bringing ergonomic chairs, natural light, and a decent coffee station into the minion breakroom.

Balancing lava pits with proper color theory is tough, but I'm making it work. I’m finally building the masterpiece of my career, and I've got three gorgeous women by my side.

There’s just one problem: "Heroic" raiding parties keep breaking in and tracking mud all over my newly installed mahogany floors.

The forces of light are about to learn a harsh lesson. You can smite the darkness, but you never mess with a designer's vision.
