Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on June 24, 2018

Morgan has given John a gift, the question is, who will be next in the family and who will be the next to be entangled with them both? It’s getting complicated, and with Morgan, that’s just the beginning.

The work follows on from the prior work in the series, revealing a bit more about Morgan and her parents, which answered quite a few questions but opened a few cans of worms as well. The erotica is very much taboo, but at the same time it’s not told in a way that makes it feel strange or odd. Part of that comes from Morgan herself and how she is becoming entangled with the family she is staying with and a good deal of that comes from her nature as well.

Morgan seems to be more and more a succubus, if not exactly saying so. Her father being revealed as an incubus is interesting as there really haven’t been any that have appeared in this author’s works before. Still, Morgan is a bit oversexed, mostly because of her nature, and where that goes from here is something I wonder about.

Four out of five pitchforks.

And with this work in the series some of Morgan’s past is revealed, especially her father being an incubus. I still haven’t seen a connection between this work and the larger succubi universe from this author that I do adore. Perhaps the last book in the series will make those connections and delight me even more.
