Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on November 6, 2020

Zilla loves sex, loves corrupting others, but a step too far sends her to hell to pinkish her. The thing is, hell sees the succubus within and when she returns, hell will be coming with her.

The work is a short erotic hot flash centred on the main character becoming the succubus she seemed to be when she was human. The transformation is a delight, her nature as a succubus is unbridled and really she is just a wonderful naughty thing by far.

While there is a lot of erotic moments in the story, there as much character development, world building, and storytelling to natch with that. The heat is lovely, the succubus erotica is delicious as well.

Zilla, the succubus of the story, could be said to be one from the very fist page. She is human however and once in hell, Kolvan, the incubus she is sent to, takes and transforms her into the succubus she truly is. It’s the delight in that change, how she embraces it, what she does as a succubus that I just loved every moment of. She isn’t perfect, but with that said, she is a seductress, temptress and her delight in being so just works so very well.

Three out of five pitchforks.

The work comes to a close in a place that works for the main characters. At the same time, it is so dearly short and felt so rushed that I wish there had been at least as many pages added as there are to flesh out the story more. It is fun, really a delight, but there is so much here to build on.
