Plot Summary

David is still trapped in the suburbs of Ashburn, but he's starting to get the hang of his demonic body and his new role as the town's supernatural enforcer.

Just when David thinks he's finally doing a good job, he sees a human dressed like a monk kill one of the nastiest, baddest demons he's ever encountered. Sybil and the rest of his crew know who the human is. He's one of the bogey men their nest parents used to scare them with when they were young.

"The Demon Slayer will find and kill you, if you don't do as you're told," the older demons would tell their brood.

Most demons thought that Slayers were only a myth. But, as David discovers, they're deadly real, and one of them is on the job in Ashburn with a mission to kill all the demons he can find.

And he will, unless David can stop him.
