Plot Summary

The story is about a incubus demon who is summoned across the world taking care of problematic people as he is summoned by a talisman with orders to administer corporal punishment but like the saying goes, be careful who you summon because its not just the problem he takes care of, he will take souls as he wishes until he has his freedom.

Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on September 26, 2017

An incubus is trapped in the whims of others to punish those they wish to be. But not all punishments are a single soul’s, they can be many.

The work is a series of short scenes in which the incubus appears, punishes someone, and then moves on to the next soul. It’s rather repetitive however. Actions are repeated, events happen over and over again with only the names and the settings changed. As such the stories become flat and somewhat uninteresting at times.

It’s a shame really because here and there are little hints of ideas and situations that if told more of would have added a lot. There’s little erotica as well, it’s mainly about different forms of punishment given and how the souls react.

The story needs serious editing, there are many word issues, misspelling and overall there’s just a lot of things that one good edit would have taken care of.

One and a half out of five pitchforks..

There’s really not much in the way of an incubus story here. The work also really needs to be edited and the repetitiveness of the stories needs to be changed to make things better. The idea is interesting, but the way the story is told takes away from that.
