Book Review
The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on July 31, 2020
Sometimes an invitation becomes an initiation and the truth isn’t exactly what you thought it would be.
The wark is a very short, what I call a pamphlet, erotic hot flash with a bit of a transformation edge. The characters are somewhat expected in their personalities and at times the stereotypical personalities are a little too over the top. Similarly, the erotica is a bit rote and a little glossed over in how things developed.
Kim, the main character, is the focus of the story and at the very last page is transformed into being a succubus before the story comes to a close. As such, there’s honestly so very little about her as a succubus and it’s a bit of a shame that wasn’t taken very far at all.
Two and a half out of five pitchforks.
The story is interesting, but as for this being a succubus story, there is a lot to be desired. Perhaps if there was a following story to tell what happened next that would help. But as this is, this is just a succubus story in passing.
