Plot Summary

Robert is resolute in keeping himself a moral man, but his new succubus girlfriends have made him irresistible to mortal women—including the gorgeous, fertile, first-time neighbor, Nadine, who couldn’t keep herself from worshiping his massively-endowed member. But the wicked succubi have a plan—they want Robert to embrace the darkness and bring every fertile, gorgeous woman alive to their knees in tandem worship with them. They’re desperate to be his erotic servants and for him to breed all the beautiful women he could ever encounter. Robert would refuse, but unless he takes control of their reality-warping erotic power, then Nadine’s life is over. To sweeten the pot, the third and final succubus will serve him with her two coven-harem members…and she’s the most gorgeous one of them all…

Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on August 25, 2023

Rob is doomed and he knows it. There’s no question that the succubi will get their way and he’s not so sure that’s such a bad thing. Having two, the third is temptation incarnate. What happens when he releases the most powerful of them all and she whispers the truth. Would it be so bad to be… bad after all?

Having drawn into existence two of his devoted succubi, Gabrielle and Rosaline, they reveal he still needs to bring his final and most desirable of them all, to worship him. The arrival of Evangeline brings an amazingly seductive power who wraps herself around him and whispers all the things she wants him to do, and every dark delight she wants to give him.

The three temptresses create a triangle of lust and power around Rob from which he’s pulled deeper into his lust for them and, in the midst of the erotic entanglements, uncovers the truth about himself, why things are the way they are, and the true purpose of the succubi.

There’s wonderful heat between the characters which builds over the course of the work. While Rob transforms into someone different, what makes him so very attractive to the succubi, it’s somewhat disappointing that his resistance crumbles a moment after Evangeline forms fully and whispers her wants to him. It makes sense, the story has built to this point and the resulting choices Rob makes aren’t really a surprise. But they are so very delicious in how they are told, the heat that comes from the erotica, and how the darkness seeps in and twists other characters to his will.

With all that’s good and all of the heat and temptations, there’s something missing that might have added something. As much as the succubi Gabrielle, Rosaline and Evangeline are manipulative, evil, naughty and seductive creatures, there’s just something missing about them that feels very unexplored. We see them all fawn over Robert, whisper temptation to him, but there’s really no interaction to speak of between them all. That’s a shame considering how different each is.

Within that conflict of personalities it feels like their relationship beyond needing Robert is lost. I’d have liked to see a flashback to when they came up with their plans, the moments between Robert having his way with them. That in itself would have given depth to all of the characters beyond what the story told.

Four out of five pitchforks.

The series is delicious in the temptresses and their lust, there’s really no question about they being succubi. Stepping beyond the sex and giving voice to their internal stories would have, for me at least, added more understanding of why things are here. A hot story about naughty succubi getting there way and I do think it’s worth a read to be amused.
