Plot Summary
The mythical gems reunited, the shades cured – years have passed, and Benny Ravi should be able to find his place in this world. But Rose and Chris, two enigmas that drop into his lap, might pull said world asunder.
Rose never understood why her dad left her. She never understood why she was able to see people others did not notice either. When she stumbles across one of those creatures, she is determined to get answers. But the world she discovers was kept from her for a reason – and is a lot more dangerous than she at first believes.
Chris knows the world is a dangerous place. He has been on the run from spirit lords and ladies for years. He does not understand why he is so strange, either – and thus, when Benjamin Ravi takes on his case and leaves him with little choice, Chris does what he does best: survive. On top, he can’t help himself. He is slowly but surely falling for his potential saviors – both Benny and Rose.
