Plot Summary
Annie is a curvy girl with a problem: she wants sex, and she wants it now. Good thing her friend happens to know a charming incubus, a demon who needs sex to survive. Oh, and he's also a professional dom. Zachary shows up to Annie's door, then shows her that a little bit of pain can sometimes lead to a whole lot of pleasure. As Annie gets the spanking of her life, she notices that Zachary seems a lot more into her than she expected. He lavishes her with attention... then he leaves. Is Annie losing it, or did Zachary want to be more than just a one-time booty call? She'll need to push through her own insecurities in order to find out. Luckily, Zachary did just teach her that having it rough can make things much sweeter in the end. But as Annie finds out, having sex with an incubus means more than just receiving pleasure - she must learn to give it as well.

Annie needs, but she cannot have. A suggestion brings her to contact Zachary, an incubus, who opens her mind, body and soul to what she truly needs to be whole. Perhaps it is also the way for them both to find their ever after too.
The work is a short erotic hot flash with a very strong and focused theme of BDSM. That focus isn’t overdone or feels out of place however. It is a mixture of heat and passion, need and control which all comes together in a delightfully told way.
It’s very much a slow burn story that builds the heat towards a peak with some pauses for the main character to come to terms with herself and what she discovers about herself. It also allows for reflection and truth between the main characters which allows the fetish aspects to have more of a bite when they return in force once more.
Zachary, the incubus of the work, is very much a Dom, but he isn’t over the top or a careless one. There is passion, need, desire and most of all, respect for Annie. He is also very much an incubus in his needs, wants and what happens in the story. He isn’t stereotypical, not by any means, and even if his incubus nature is a bit shaded, it helps to bring out the heat in the erotica so very well.

The work closes in a place that fits the story, the characters and the mood. It also leaves some interesting threads dangling to wonder about. Perhaps the one that catches me is if Annie might be partly a succubus in her nature which would add a layer onto the story that might explain a few things. One of the few BDSM stories that didn’t;t go over the top and I am glad it didn’t.
