Plot Summary
Even though the demon constantly reminds the warrior that she is blessed, Una Gunnvor, a warrior of the Bear tribe, quests far from her Northern homeland to remove the curse. Traveling far south to the lush jungles, Una seeks out a lost Holy Fountain claiming to restore lost limbs and remove diseases. At the same time, Una has to deal with a skilled amazon-warrior, a member of a distant Dragon tribe, and the demon's teasing games...

Una carries a secret within that tears at her soul. A past lost, a promise left, a curse she carries with her. A demon whispers in her mind, telling truths she does not want to admit are the truth. But they say the truth can set you free, even if that truth is spoken by a succubus themselves.
The work is a fantasy adventure mixed with a bit of succubus futa erotica and a great deal of the main character’s development. A very emotionally draining story, the main character is pulled at throughout by Charira, who is revealed to be a succubus at the conclusion of the story. It’s a very hard journey, the truth is so very hard to face and accept and that honestly captivated me.
Charira, the succubus of the story, for the most part is a shadow throughout, she is hidden away and speaks within the main character’s mind, telling of the past, trying to help, and bring them to a resolution of their past actions. She is anything but evil really, though she does hint that she could be. But she chooses not to, but in a way that brings out her teasing and naughty nature well before she appears. When she does, she has horns, tail and hooves, and is very much the image of a succubus, as well as being a futa as well. That aspect is part of her, but it’s not the point of her character. She is something more of a teacher or guide and I delighted in her being so.

An amazing piece of storytelling from beginning to close by far. I do wish there was more time spent with Charira once she appeared as her personality throughout the story just needed that for her to become more fully fleshed out I think. It is a shame that this was a one off story and Charira’s story didn’t continue. But it is something to wonder about.
