Plot Summary

Seduction is dangerous when it comes to you in the form of a monster.

In the magical city of Evermore, humans and monsters live side by side. But not always harmoniously.

Cara is a human woman struggling to make it on her own in the big city. By day, she works a boring desk job. By night, she takes college classes, hoping to improve her life. Romance is the last thing on her mind.

Apollo is an incubus, a monstrous creature who feeds on sexual energy and dreams. But unlike his cruel brethren, he has no wish to harm humans. He lives on the fringes of both societies, wanting connection but facing distrust and prejudice at every turn.

When Apollo saves Cara from a dangerous encounter one night, an unlikely bond begins to form. Cara sees beyond Apollo's frightening exterior to the gentle soul within. Apollo finds in Cara a kindness he has never known. But in a world that does not tolerate monsters and humans together, Cara and Apollo must hide their deepening love or face dire consequences.

Can this beauty and beast forge a future in a city that does not want them?
