Plot Summary

Giles Palmer is having a rough time getting his store going. He has the skill to make the scrolls and enchanted wands, and knows what the local farmers need from a spell-weaver. But when an aggressive agent of the government comes to confiscate his wares, for the support the army, Giles learns fast that setting his shop up in Ostrom is going to be hard. And to add more trouble on his plate, his neighbor summoned demons next door! The bratty, cute little witch got her hand on a ritual to open a gate to the demon realm, releasing wriggling worms from hell that have an agenda of their own. When one of the worms gets loose, Giles will have to pick up his wand to slay it before it causes any trouble. Until this little act of heroism makes him the target for the witch's plans!
