Logan finds himself in the presence of his neighbour’s daughter being possessed by a demon and his thoughts become focused on her and what the demon offers, no matter the cost to them both.
The work is a very short, what I call a pamphlet, work of erotica set in the 1800s which revolves around the main character encountering his young neighbour in the midst of being possessed and what happens as a result between them. The storytelling is a bit dry overall, there’s a lack of heat and while there are some aspects of succubus themed erotica, it’s really not focused on that with all else that happens.
Laura, the character seemingly possessed by a succubus, is present in the story, but there’s really so very little done with her or the succubus for that matter. They are a means to get to the erotic scenes and then once that happens, the possession ends and the story soon afterwards.
It’s a shame because there really nothing told about the succubus, save for her teasing and tempting of the main character. The question of how this all came to be is never explored and it’s really unclear if Laura was really possessed given that there’s so little story about the succubus told.

While there are some aspects of succubus, or at least demon, possession, the story really doesn’t go anywhere with this or does anything with the possibility other than have the main character and Laura become entangled before the story ends. As such this is really less of a succubus story than it could have, and really might have been.
