Plot Summary

Well I'll tell you one thing experience and age has done absolutely nothing to improve my horrible luck. Still, at thirty three, one would assume that I'd have some sort of handle on my life and what it's supposed to be.

Nope

Why on Earth would you, disabled veteran and all around shut in Kinsley Nyx Knight, be hiding behind a bush in heels to tall, a jacket too small in a tight bottomed dress out of a male escort's closet? Then run across the lobby like a retarded penguin in heels to confess entirely too personal information in an autistic meltdown in front of two strangers?

Nicky! That's right this is all my frizzing orphan brother Roman Nikolai Cross' fault! Ever since the Witch named me after the bad luck stray cat outside of our orphanage, it is one thing after another in the tragic comedy of errors that is my life, and since the jerk who is still my best friend stole the only decent boyfriend I ever had in college, he's taken it upon himself to find my fate. This time via internet dating profile.

I truly thought my life couldn't have gotten more eventful than it had been, but never say never, because the chain of events that follows lands me with a Puck, a Vampire, A Viking, A Genie and even a bloody Incubus.
