Book Review
The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on September 22, 2019
It’s just a cruise, a love boat, a disaster waiting to happen for Samantha. But at least she will be away from her family, save for the cruise director. There’s no possible way she could actually find her love, except that she just might have.
The work is a cute and fun romance story with a bit of fantasy and magic around the edges. It’s a very unique setting, the characters are all well written with clear voices and personalities an as for the plot. that is a bit of a mess from the start, much like the main characters are.
The incubus of the story, Aroth, plays a very minor role, something of a bit pf a tease and a test for the main characters. There is very little told about his, his story, the background or much else really. If anything he is there to create a bit of friction, which the main characters had enough of really.
Three and a half out of five pitchforks.
It’s a very cute and fun romance story with a minor incubus character who i something of a tease overall. As a romance this is a lot of silly fun and perhaps not so silly conflict. As an incubus story, it’s really not that save for in passing.
