Plot Summary
Delia Rhodes has always been a fan of the occult, though her witchy vibe does her no favors on the dating scene. When she gets her hands on an odd spellbook, she unintentionally summons Seth, a hungry incubus demon, and quickly discovers just what it means to get debauched and devoured by a devil.
Book Review
The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on November 8, 2019
Delia finds herself having summoned an incubus, but Seth really isn’t anything like she might have expected, if she could. He’s amusing, a tease, but also he captures her curiosity. He might even capture her heart and that might not be a bad thing at all for them both.
The work is a wonderfully told romance fantasy erotic story with quite telling humour, two characters that are really made for each other, and a tone of fun and discovery that honestly I eaven’t seen often. Not so much erotica as it is a story of connection, of learning and discovery and it really managed that well.
Seth, the incubus of he story, is anything but stereotypical. He is smart, funny, really quite delightful and has a personality that just works so very well here. It’s not often that a purple incubus appears in a story, more so one that has a personality that just captures the main character and creates a connection that is more than sex, it’s a need and want. Really quite a special thing by far.
Three and a half out of five pitchforks.
the work closes in a place that is delightfully fun and cute and by doing so allows the story to hold onto the tone from the beginning. I wish there had been a following story, to flesh out the relationship more, to tell the rest of the story wish I think would have been a lot of fun.
