Book Review
The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on November 6, 2018
There are always dishes to be done, chores to be dealt with, and as for her husband and children, they can be absolute devils at times. But a deal offered might solve the problems, or makes them so much worse.
The work is a horror comedy with a little bit of a succubus theme on the edges of what otherwise is an amusing story that tends to drift off in a lot of directions and thoughts to consider. It’s not quite erotica, those there are some aspects of that here and there. But there is a lot of snark, even more conflict and overall that kept the story interesting.
Annette, who is transformed into being something like a succubus, is as quirky as the rest of the characters. Her character and personify is odd from the start and as she transforms, mentally and physically, the succubus aspects take over and she becomes very much a creature of impending doom and evil with a bit of a sexual edge to her. That is, overall,. sort of in passing and really doesn’t get delved into as much as I would have liked however.
Two out of five pitchforks.
More of a horror story mixed with a bit of comedy and a certain tone of storytelling that was amusing. But it really isn’t much of a succubus story, even if there are many hints of it. They just don’t really go anywhere special.
