Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on August 25, 2019

All chases come to an end and for Lilith the end of her chase leads directly to her husband in hell. Such a terrible thing this will be, he assumes, but he doesn’t quite see Lilith’s smile of delight in what is waiting for her.

Following on from the prior work, this is a short hot flash which focused on Lilith being dominated in various ways before, in a way, getting what is coming to her. Amusing at points, teasing at others, it’s quite a telling story of Lilith’s own personality and her own desires brought to the fore.

At points, Lilith is smug, taunting, always a tease, and very much a succubus with one thing on her mind. There’s very little in the way of an evil tone to her however and when the close of the story comes, there’s a tenderness that was hinted at here and there in the series and makes her to be a far more likeable character as well.

Three out of five pitchforks.

The ending of the series was about as over the top as I had expected it to be/ Still, Lilith remains a schemer, a tease and a seductress. But how things close with her love, and he is her lover, I thought redeemed her somewhat. Overall the series was too scattered and in a rush and perhaps putting all of this together into a single novel and fleshing it out might be the part that’s missing here.
