Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on October 7, 2025

The work is a series of poems of varying length and focus which are interspersed with artwork depicting Lilith. The artwork seems to be AI generated for the most part, though a few might not be.

With that said, the poems themselves approach aspects of Lilith’s character, one’s relationships with her, and some of the stories that are known about her are sort of inserted into some of the poems as well. It reads and feels like a thoughtful work, seeking out a kind of understanding about Lilith that I found interesting and unique at points.

Four out of five pitchforks.

A very emotionally telling group of poems and images that work well together to tell aspects of Lilith’s story. I would have liked a bit of a postscript from the author to tell something about their thoughts about writing the work, to give a glimpse of what their own thoughts of Lilith are. The poems hint, but it would have been nice to see more beyond the poems themselves.
