Plot Summary
For every soul who ever longed for more…
Immortality was never about gilded youth or a lover’s eternal devotion. For Jennifer, a succubus, eternity is hunger. From the shadows of medieval Europe to the neon pulse of future Paris, she weaves a tapestry of seduction, ecstasy, and ruin. She is temptation incarnate: ageless, beautiful, and utterly unrepentant. Her touch is obsession. Her kiss, destruction. Each century, each city, another dance with pleasure and death
But in the rain-soaked quiet of Paris, Jennifer finds herself facing a challenge unlike any she has ever known. Molly, a bold and mysterious young woman, becomes more than an audience for Jennifer’s immortal tales. As wine and stories blur the boundary between predator and companion, Jennifer’s power is met with Molly’s wit, her hunger with curiosity, and perhaps something deeper, darker, and more dangerous than desire.
Told across centuries, from masquerade balls in Venice to the fevered nights of Rio Carnival, Her Infinite Embrace is a story of hunger and pleasure, memory and myth, a journey through the world’s forbidden pleasures, all bound by a single, inescapable truth: for some monsters, love is the most dangerous temptation of all.
Dare to step inside Jennifer’s world, where every longing is answered, every secret comes at a price, and nothing, least of all her heart, will ever be safe.
Book Review
The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on July 14, 2026
Born in fire, heat and death, Jennifer’s nature is to consume the souls of mortals, but never feel the hunger within her come to peace. Is she evil, without feeling, or is the truth something deeper which no one can understand. Then Molly comes into Jennifer’s world and the truth is so much more than she can bring herself to understand.
The work is something of a narrative exploration of the life of Jennifer, the succubus of this work. It explores her beginnings, the years following, the encounters she has and with that comes an undercurrent of wanting shaded within her. The twist in the story comes with Molly’s appearance, the connection between them, the truth that comes to be revealed and the honestly tearful realization that Jennifer has and Molly gives.
The writing is amazing, the textures in the narrative, the emotional tones, the depths of both despair and passion are exceptionally well told. There are moments of erotica, but they aren’t tossed about or cast out for the sake of it. Each moment matters, every encounter adds to the story of Jennifer’s life and opens her to revealing the truth she has held for so long.
Jennifer is, very much a succubus, she consumes souls, has the physical aspects of a succubus. Her powers of magic and mind control, temptation and seduction are wonderfully explored as well. She is anything but one-dimensional and as the story unfolds, she becomes more and more complex which delighted me to no end.
Four out of five pitchforks.
The work closes in a way that makes all of the moments, the fears, the passions, and the needs come together in a promise fulfilled that was the centrepiece of the story. It is really one of most special tales of the truth within, the whispering which never fades, and the moment when the one thing that, in so many stories about succubi, never comes to be. Truly a remarkable story told with a voice that never failed to amazing and enthral me.
