Enter Leo, a charming man with an attractive smile and even more attractive face to match. He's dominant, haughty, and knows what he wants--Keith. He can't deny his instant attraction to Leo and finds himself all over him quickly. Will this mean his Valentine's day will be good after all? Will he find out the secrets that Leo hold? There's one thing he understands for sure: his attraction to Leo almost feels . . .supernatural.
Book Review
The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on July 27, 2018
Valentine’s Day is that much worse when you are dumped by your boyfriend. But a chance encounter might be everything needed to find a waiting lover that is all one could desire.
The story is a romance entanglement erotic hot flash with a male/male focus that turns from bitter loss towards need and wanting which cascades into unbridled desire. The hear between the main characters settles in quickly and by the middle of the story the question is one of overcoming what one had lost for another that needs and desires.
Leo, who can be thought of as the incubus of the story, has the aspect of being one, all of the hints are there, but it’s a little uncertain. He is a creature of sex and desire, but it’s the balance of his character that I wanted to know more about beyond the erotica itself.
Three out of five pitchforks.
It’s a well told story, the uncertainty between the main characters is very much in the open and how that comes to be dealt with works quite well I thought. Still, the incubus aspects of the story are a bit muted, a little hinted at than anything else. Where things close works well and feels right for the story, but I think there was a lot more than could have been explored beyond the erotica alone.
