Book Review
The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on December 5, 2025
Emma loves being a secretary and it seems that now she loves her boss Jennifer. But Jennifer is a futa succubus with her own designs upon Emma and those plans will change both of them.
The work is a very short, what I call a pamphlet, erotica hot flash with a bit of romance, domination, pregnancy obsession and a scattering of mind control fetishes around the edges. The erotica really doesn’t have a lot of heat, it’s a bit too over the top at times and that’s saying something with the futa aspects. Setting aside that, the story overall is a bit rushed, the dialogue a little forced as well.
By the end of the story it’s turned from those aspects towards something a bit more focused on the character relationships which I thought was interesting. At the same time, with how quickly the story moves from scene to scene and moment to moment, there wasn’t really enough time spent on character development for the sake of the erotica and there could have been.
Jennifer, the succubus of the work, is very dominant, a bit controlling and, of course, is a futa as well. With her being both a succubus and a futa, it would have been interesting to explore her succubus nature more than it was. The story is all about her being a futa and what she does with Emma in that respect, but otherwise her succubus nature sort of appears in side notes and commentary from time to time, but otherwise does’t come out to play.
Two and a half out of five pitchforks.
The missing part of this story for me is Jennifer herself. She is a succubus, but what does that mean really. Just saying she is a futa succubus leaves a lot of questions behind that would have been interesting to explore. Beyond that, the story itself sort of danced around the succubus part of her, focusing on other things and it feels like something is missing as a result.
