Evelyn is so dearly confused about herself, her love and most of all the woman that has inserted herself somewhere she is not welcome. But there are answers to every mystery, the problem is that most answers are not the ones we expect them to be.
The work is a vampire themed story of passion and lust with a bit of a succubus theme on the edge and quite a lot of vampire erotica as well. Some of the erotica is very hot, some of the story is quite interesting as well. As a vampire story, it does work, it’s just that has a succubus story, there seems to be a lot of pieces missing.
The succubi of the story, Evelyn and Angel, have aspects of succubi in them, but they do not have the physical ones like horns and tails. They are, overall, vampires that meed sex and blood is something of a fetish to them. They are both seductresses, they are very sexual creatures as well. As for being succubi, they are, to a point and then they are not because of the vampire setting. It’s an odd sort of character situation, it works overall,. but then the question of what succubi are is glossed over for the most part and I really wanted to know more about their existence in this story universe.

This is very much a vampire story with a passing interest in two of the characters being succubi. Given that this is a story set in a vampire universe, it’s not a surprise that anything the succubi speak of or do is shaded in terms of vampires. It would have been a lot more interesting to me at least with a bit more time spent on the succubi aspects overall.
