Plot Summary
It was a cold and windy fall night, the moon was full, and the fireplace was lit. Anastasia had spent the day fantasizing about how the night would unfold. The house was prepared for a lusty night of passion and fiery sex. Her love, Calloway was supposed to join her for a night they’d never forget. Suddenly her plans are ruined when Calloway decides to bail on her. Alone and horny, Anastasia does the unthinkable when she decides to summon a Incubus to fulfill her sexual desires.

Frustrated, and a little ticked off, Anastasia decides to summon an incubus for her pleasure if her lover won’t. But incubi have their own will and what they desire can become what the summoner herself cannot escape.
The work is a short erotic hot flash which for half the work focused on the main character summoning an incubus and the sex they have before turning to the main character dominating their lover. It feels very much like two separate story ideas connected by the incubus power, which works, but could have been a lot more interesting.
The erotica is very over the top, a bit rushed, and the heat sort of ebbs overall. Some of the moments are just a bit too odd and a little silly in how things develop as well. I do wonder about one aspect of the main character following the incubus having his way with her, but that idea didn’t appear, even if the change in the main character sort of suggested that it could have been.
The incubus of the story, who is never named, is something between a ghost and a presence. Very single minded and very much a creature of sex, there’s just not a lot more told about him. He is a thought, an idea and save for a few whispered words, reply only exists to have Anastasia lose control and then to see where that takes her. There’s a hint of something interesting in him, but that just didn’t get explored and I wish it had. It would have made for a more interesting incubus.

There is really very little of an incubus aspect to the story, at least in the way one might expect it to have. A bit of a ghost story, a little male and then female domination and, perhaps, a little corruption as well. It’s very much a hot flash that is very over the top and I wish there had been more to the incubus than there was.
