Plot Summary
Anna Carlyle can't resist her hunky son. Now an adult, when he finds her praying in the church, he thinks she should really sin so she has something to beg the Lord for forgiveness. There in the church, she succumbs to her incestuous desires and is taken hard by her son. But it's just a dream. A dream far, far too real. Her son is awakening, and the preacher's wife won't let his lusts run unchecked. When she sees him at church flirting with another married woman and going off with her, the naughty mommy knows what she has to do. She has to finally cross that line she's been dreaming about.
Book Review

Anna dreams of her son Damian and falling to his power. She knows why the dreams have appeared, she knows what he will become. Can she somehow control the devil within or succumb to him.
The work is a very short piece of erotica that mainly focuses on incest and places the incubus theme on the edge of the story. It’s very rushed, there’s not a lot of time for Anna to tell about what’s happening through her desire and the encounters with her son and trying to control his focus.
Overall, at least in this opening part of the series, it makes next to no difference if Damian is an incubus or not. It’s more of a bit of flavour to tease the rest of the series and what may follow. As such, while Damian appears to be the incubus of the series, there’s no real aspect of him that reflects this. There are dreamscapes, there’s a certain domination aspect to him in those dreams which seems rather stereotypically incubus-like. There are no signs of horns or a tail, nor any strong mind control aspects save for one short note in the story.
The purpose here is to set up the series, introduce the main characters and have a handful of erotic scenes before bringing things to a close. There’s really no indication of Damian being an incubus save for the dreams told in the story. Given the series name, at some point he will become one, but so far this isn’t at all interesting.
There’s no question of the incest themes, where the story will likely be going from here. But as a story about incubi, I have my doubts about it, much like has happened with several other series by this author about succubi.

If Damian turns out to be the person he is in the dreams so far, this won’t be anything like the incubus story it might, or could, be. The characters seem very flat and uninteresting, which is a shame. Perhaps what’s missing is the actual appearance of Damian being an incubus and seeing how that develops. Hopefully the next work in the series will move towards that.
