Plot Summary
Juliana is the kind of woman who makes men lose their souls.
Half-demon, all temptation, she was born to tease, to lure mortals into sin, to leave them wrecked and wanting. She’s a wicked little thing—soft where she should be, sinful where she shouldn’t be—and every stolen glance, every lingering touch is a promise she knows he’s too weak to resist.
Marius is just a man, and she is something far beyond him.
But the moment she finally offers herself up, she learns something dangerous.
This mortal doesn’t just want to kneel. He wants to take.
Book Review
The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on October 12, 2025
The night shift isn’t the worst thing, there’s something about the solitude, the time to reflect, and most of that for Marius is focused on his coworker Juliana. She’s irresistible, being a succubus after all, but what he doesn’t realize is that he’s as much so to her as well.
A short erotic hot flash that’s written extremely well, has characters with emotional depth and passions who are anything but two-dimensional. The story flows well from the introduction of the setting and characters, slowly building the heat between them until the erotica comes into focus. That isn’t rushed through, there’s time for the heat to burn, the characters passions to be taken where they needed to be. It’s just such a fun, teasing temptation and I adored that.
Juliana, the succubus of the story, is somewhere between being a tease and so dearly taken by Marius. How she is described, the teasing she plays upon him and then simply comes out and suggests he needs to become entangled with her, is just so well done. She’s anything but evil, the story creates an office romance between the characters and how Juliana’s nature flows into that scene is just perfectly told.
Four out of five pitchforks.
Just a really hot and delightful erotic story that was a lot of fun. I feel like there should be a follow on story about these characters, perhaps to explore the nature of cambions like Juliana and her kind. If not that, then at least there needs to be a return to these two having some fun in the copier room.
