Plot Summary

As an immortal entity of demonic lust, my life is pretty grand. I corrupt good girls all day long by convincing them that the only way they can live their lives is by erotically servicing me in every way possible. They never resist—I break their wills and take their souls for all eternity. Recently, I found my own evil version of a soulmate—a gorgeous, hyper-fertile demon babe named Portia who I turned into my own personal succubus. She’s so in love with me that she would damn millions just to make me smile. And while I was getting a little tired of good girls, she’s got this crazy plan up her sleeve to give me even more worshipers like herself, and I can hardly say no to another demon beauty servicing my immortally hard member…

Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on June 29, 2021

Evil is attracted to evil and when there’s a way to create playthings for for an incubus, they’ll stop at nothing to make that come true. If there is a succubus involved, then things can become a bit harder.

Overall there’s not a lot of difference in the characters or the storyline from the first work in the series. The story is told from the incubus’ point of view, which is very much over the top and remains focused on his sexual needs and thoughts. He doesn’t really have much in the way of deep intelligent thoughts or planning of what he does and that’s disappointing. It takes the appearance of a new character, Portia, for the story to slightly break away from being porn movie scene levels of plot and actually have a semblance of a larger story.

Portia is, much like the incubus, overall a stereotypically evil succubus with not a lot on her mind other then having her way with various other characters and driving the incubus towards what could be a goal for him and it’s one he’s not likely to resist.

It’s this point, and Portia herself, that makes this work a bit more interesting. She’s a schemer, she has a plan, seemingly more than the incubus knows, and while she’s focused on sex, there’s something behind the sex that could make the series more than it is. I’d honestly like to see Portia become a lot more than she is, that her plan turns into something where the main character gets taken down a notch or two. If nothing else, it would add depth to the plot, which is something that’s needed.

The erotica is, once again, porn movie levels of heat and it really didn’t do much for me. However, there is a transformation sequence that was interesting and had some heat in it that worked well. But it’s a short scene and when it’s over the story falls back into being rather bland.

If the story spent less time on the porn and more in the plot and characters I think there’s a lot that this could become. Yes the characters are, most of them, evil and there’s not a lot to like about them. But if there was some back-stabbing or plans within plans happening, that would be interesting. It all comes back around to a lack of heat, a lack of characters to care about. Still, there’s some promise with Portia and one other character that could bring what’s missing, but we’ll see.

Two out of five pitchforks.

It’s a bit better than the first work, but overall it wasn’t as interesting as it could have been. The incubus going on and on about his prowess and evil just drags the story down. At some point the story needs to be more about finding a plot and not about the sex. Sex isn’t erotica alone and it’s not enough to bring good heat to a story.
