Book Review
The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on May 24, 2020
Delilah has lost so much and she is so very lost and alone. A job is a job however and perhaps she can find something to distract her. The thing is, a succubus being distracted is never a good thing.
The work is a mystery adventure with the main character being a succubus, following the troubles she finds herself in and what happens to her. It’s not erotica by any means, perhaps something more akin to a dungeon adventure but without the dudgeon. The mystery is interesting as are the characters and overall it’s an interesting read.
Delilah, the succubus of the story, is a succubus, but she really doesn;t act much like one. Much of that is explained by what happened before this story to her and it’s so very telling upon her. There are hints of her nature, a little tease here and there, but overall this isn’t really a story about her being a succubus, but more a story about her trying to find herself and a purpose when she’s lost everything.
Three out of five pitchforks.
Delilah’s succubus nature really doesn’t come into play in this story like it did in the first work she appeared in. But what matters more here is that there’s a lot of character development and coming to terms which made the story more than it otherwise would have been.
