Plot Summary
Seven Carter…
I did the crime, and now I’ve been sentenced to do the time. Only the prison I’m expecting? It isn’t a prison, at all. It’s a mental health facility for supernaturals, and I am not one of those. Or, am I? Not only is Darkbriar more than meets the eye, but I’m also learning my whole life has been one big game of pretend. They pretended I was their real daughter. They pretended I was normal. They pretended I was human. Did they ever really love me? I’m not sure how much more I can handle.
Then, there’s the four of them… The Demon. The Incubus. The Terror. The Poltergeist. They all want me, but can I trust them? The future has already been set in motion, and it promises something even worse than the revelations that are coming to light at Darkbriar.
