Plot Summary

Leif Landry's afterlife isn't going as planned. City life has proved every bit as dangerous as the chaos of the dark forests he left behind. Isolation sets in as both his brother and Sailor drift away from him. Animal blood no longer satisfies his undead cravings. His world seems to crumbling.

On top of that, a serial killer is stalking the streets of the city, hunting supernatural creatures; an old enemy has returned to plague him; and his very dreams are haunted. To whom can Leif turn to weather this tempest? Certainly not the deranged captain of the guard, enemy to all things supernatural!
