Plot Summary

Cameron Dupree can't catch a break. What's a poor townie supposed to do when he's surrounded by trust-fund babies, the children of UN ambassadors, and the future leaders of America? Even worse, he's a mundane human in a world of vampires, shifters, and beings closer to gods than men. How's he supposed to get through class when one bad joke could lead to the starting offensive lineman ripping off his arm and beating him to death with it? How's he supposed to walk the halls when mages can hear his innermost thoughts and desires. And, the hardest thing of all, how's he supposed to get the hottest girl in school to even notice him? Cam learned long ago that if you don't have power, you make yourself useful. With his ragtag group of friends: a drug-dealing werewolf, a hacker mage, and a vegetarian vampire, he takes on the school where everyone has everything, and he has nothing. Hopefully, he doesn't piss off someone enough they'll squash him like a bug.
