Plot Summary
Bailey Rogers hasn't slept in three years.
The curse came without warning—one day she could sleep, the next she couldn't. No amount of medication, meditation, or medical intervention has helped. She's dying slowly, her body breaking down from the relentless insomnia that's stealing her life one sleepless night at a time.
As a paranormal researcher, Bailey knows curses are real. She's spent the last three years searching for answers, chasing leads through the supernatural underworld, desperate for a cure. But nothing has worked. And now, with her body failing and her mind fracturing at the edges, she's running out of time.
Then she meets Morvex.
He's an incubus—ancient, dangerous, and impossibly beautiful. He feeds on desire, walking through dreams and feeding on the sleeping. But Bailey is different. She can't dream. She can't sleep. And the moment Morvex touches her mind, he knows: she's his fated mate.
The bond between them is instant and overwhelming. Morvex is obsessed—he can feel her exhaustion, her pain, the way her body is slowly dying. And he knows he can save her. If she bonds with him completely, he can walk her into sleep, into dreams, into the rest her body desperately needs.
But Bailey has spent three years fighting for control of her own mind. The idea of surrendering to an incubus—of letting him into her dreams, her thoughts, her very soul—terrifies her. Even if it means she'll finally sleep. Even if it means she'll survive.
Morvex will do anything to save her. Even if it means breaking down every wall she's built. Even if it means showing her that surrender isn't weakness—it's salvation.
Because Bailey Rogers is his. And he's not letting her die.
Not now. Not ever.
