Book Review
The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on September 19, 2025
Veronica’s attraction to Lilith is beyond question, as for Lilith, she is a force beyond anything Veronica has encountered before. The seduction was the beginning, the passions a mere pause towards the climax between them. But there is a darker truth which Lilith holds, and Veronica must decide if the truth is worth the risk to fall utterly to Lilith’s bindings.
The work is a sensual tale of passion, domination, mystery and secrets which combine into a story as captivating as the first these characters appeared in. The building of tension is wonderful, the mystery is dark and mysterious as well. More than anything else, the passions between Veronica and Lilith, the ecstasy between them, and how they fall into each other is so very telling by far.
Lilith, the succubus of the work, is ever so much a seductress, but also an overwhelming temptation. Her character overwhelms the story, but that is the point given all else that tries to cut between her and Veronica. Her aspects as a succubus are fully shown, she is so very much a power onto herself and that is just stunningly well done.
Four out of five pitchforks.
While the work is a wonderful read, it’s something of a pause between events overall. There is a plot unfolding, there is a secret revealed as well. I dearly hope the author will continue to the pinnacle of this path, to perhaps push Veronica towards what Lilith sees in her. Or, perhaps, there is something more waiting for both and that will be a fascinating tale to discover.
