Plot Summary
D.C.I. Dunn has been feeling under the weather for days but he can't recall the dreams that seem to drain him every night. His waking hours become frantic with a murderer on the loose who seems to have a high kill rate to say the least. What Dunn discovers baffles all concerned as the killer seems to be modelling their work on a little known witch and succubus who died over four-hundred years ago.
As the investigation progresses Dunn finds he is linked to the killer in more ways than simply being the man hunting them. As the kill rate continues to climb Dunn uncovers long kept secrets and comes to realise the killer is known to him.
Can Dunn uncover the truth before it is too late? Will Dunn be able to live with the truth if he does?
