Plot Summary

In this Gothic romance, a young couple finds a dead body in Rome during their first meeting. They leave it lying lifeless in the grass but a persistent ghost soon haunts them. Demons are also present and make matters worse, and these mystical happenings get extensive explanation as our couple learns about magic while trying to stay alive. Charisse is a heroine you will love: sexy, beautiful, stylish, and desirable to all who see her.

Gothic romance at its best, with dashes of horror in a satirical and quirky setting of dark humor, this book is a sex and art engorged festival of magic as we see that demons will just not go away and that ghosts are everywhere. It is a dark, twisted, surreal adventure with macabre humor and a serious touch of Burroughs style snippets and visionary descriptions, with a disjointed wry sense of self-absorbed people. Charisse will chill you and make you love her.
